It gets very crowded on weekends and during busy periods (3-day weekends, Golden Week, Obon, New Year's holidays, etc.).
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers, but please allow yourself plenty of time to arrive and also use public transportation.
In addition, To ease congestion, we ask that passengers picking up or dropping off guests refrain from parking in the general vehicle drop-off area and instead use the general parking lots (P1, P2: free for up to 30 minutes, P3, P4: free for up to 60 minutes).

Aso Kumamoto Airport has installed dedicated disembarking lanes to ensure safe and smooth vehicle movement within the airport premises.

How it works
  1. ① Enter the exit entrance
  2. ②The entrance and exit gates open and close automatically by reading the license plate.
  3. ③Airport passengers disembark at the disembarking zone.
  4. ④After disembarking, exit through the exit gate (automatically opens and closes when license plate is read)

Points to remember The disembarking lane is a space for aircraft passengers to disembark.
Please move your car promptly after disembarking. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping operations running smoothly and in the shortest time possible.
Guests picking up their pet should use the general parking lot.

  • * Parking spaces for motorcycles (including mopeds), bicycles, and disabled persons are only available in the P1 surface parking lot.
  • *There is no charge for bicycles.

  • *Disabled customers will receive a 50% discount on the rates listed above upon presentation of their disability certificate.
    (If you enter during early morning or late night hours when no staff are present, this will apply if you report it to the parking office upon exiting or within three weeks of entry.)

About peak season

The peak season is as follows:
The period of peak travel is defined as the spring break, Golden Week, summer vacation, Silver Week, the year-end and New Year period, and the period of consecutive holidays when national holidays as defined in Article 2 of the Act on National Holidays (Act No. 178 of 1948), holidays as defined in Article 3, Paragraphs 2 and 3 of the same Act, and Saturdays and Sundays (hereinafter referred to as "holidays, etc.") occur for three or more consecutive days, or when there are four consecutive holidays with gaps in between. Alternatively, the period of consecutive holidays, etc., when the aforementioned peak travel period is consecutive. In addition, during the particularly crowded months of October to December, every Saturday and Sunday (including every Friday in November) will be newly designated as a peak travel period.

Discount system

Disability discount

If you present a disability certificate (such as a physical disability certificate, intellectual disability certificate, mental disability health and welfare certificate, war-wounded and sick person's certificate, atomic bomb survivor's health certificate, specific disease medical treatment recipient certificate, specific medical expense (designated intractable disease) recipient certificate, or chronic childhood disease medical treatment recipient certificate), the fee will be halved.

Credit Card

We accept credit cards (including debit cards and prepaid cards) with the following international brand logos.
If you spend less than 3 yen, you can enter quickly without signing in.

Electronic money cards

Transportation electronic money cannot be used at the exit gate. Please use the pre-payment machine.

How to use the parking lot

Arrival (entrance gate)

Please receive your parking ticket from the parking ticket machine at the entrance gate before entering.
Parking tickets are required at the parking lot exit gate or at the pre-payment machine.So be sure to bring it with you.
If you are a disabled person, please contact the parking attendant using the intercom at the parking ticket issuing machine at the entrance. A parking ticket for disabled people will be issued. Please present your disability certificate at this time.
The height restrictions for each parking lot are as follows: P1 parking lot: 3.8m in total height, P1 parking lot (with carport): 2.4m, multi-storey car park: 2.2m, P2, P3 and P4 parking lots: 2.5m.

Please note that if you do not exit the parking lot within 15 minutes after paying at the pre-payment machine, an additional fee will be charged.

If you do not use the pre-payment machine
Please pay the parking fee at the exit gate. The exit gate bar will not rise until the fee has been paid.
Customers with Disabilities
Customers with disabilities should inform a staff member at the exit gate.
If you receive a parking ticket for people with disabilities at the entrance, please pay at the automatic payment machine (prepayment machine is also acceptable). The discounted rate will be applied.

Electric vehicle fast charging station

We have quick charging stations available for customers with electric vehicles.
One space is provided in the P1 surface parking lot, and two spaces are provided in the multi-storey parking lot.
All fees apply.

*The rapid charging station located in the P1 ground-level parking lot is currently unavailable due to a malfunction.

Long-term parking

Due to parking management and airport security reasons, as a general rule, users are not allowed to park for more than 14 consecutive days.If you plan to park for more than 14 days, please notify the management office.
If no notification is made, or if a notification is made but the vehicle is not picked up after the parking period has elapsed, the vehicle will be disposed of three months after the warning date, as this will pose a hazard to parking lot management and airport security.
