Flower display by students of Kumamoto Agricultural High School (May)
Since 2001, Aso Kumamoto Airport has been exhibiting seasonal floral arrangements grown by students from agricultural-related schools in the prefecture.
When you use the airport, why not take a look down at your feet and enjoy the artwork created by high school students from Kumamoto?
The May exhibit features works (marigolds, globe amaranth, zinnias, and petals) by students of Kumamoto Prefectural Kumamoto Agricultural High School.

[Comments from Kumamoto Agricultural High School students]
We, the horticulture and fruit tree department at Kumamoto Agricultural High School, learn about the cultivation and management of flowers, vegetables, and fruit trees throughout the year. The spring seedlings on display this time (marigolds, globe amaranths, periwinkles, and zinnias) were cultivated mainly by students majoring in floriculture. They were planted in February and carefully raised. We hope that the many people coming to Kumamoto will be able to see the flowers we have grown and welcome them with a smile. Please enjoy them when you stop by the airport.
