Flower display by students of Kumamoto Agricultural High School (June)

Since 2001, Aso Kumamoto Airport has been exhibiting seasonal floral arrangements grown by students from agricultural-related schools in the prefecture.
When you use the airport, why not take a look down at your feet and enjoy the artwork created by high school students from Kumamoto?
The June exhibit features works (gypsophila, dianthus, and cockscomb) by students of Kumamoto Prefectural Kumamoto Agricultural High School (life studies).

[Comments from Kumamoto Agricultural High School students]
In the agricultural subject of the life science class, students learn about the cultivation and management of flowers, vegetables, and other plants.
At the beginning of February this year, in a class called "Flowers and Plants," the current third-year students sowed approximately 20,000 seeds for flowers that will grow from spring through to summer. They then moved the seeds from the seedling trays into pots, fertilized them, and continued to water them. In May, the current second-year students planted them in planters.
It takes a long time and a lot of love to grow a single flower. Please enjoy looking at these cute flowers and feel your heart warmed.
