The "Kumamoto Earthquake Memory Corridor" is a corridor-style field museum that preserves and teaches about the Kumamoto earthquake for future generations.
The purpose of this event is to learn from the experiences and lessons of the Kumamoto earthquake, ensure that they are not forgotten and are passed on to future generations, strengthen disaster prevention measures against future large-scale natural disasters, learn about the natural characteristics of Kumamoto, and foster a renewed reverence for nature and love for one's hometown.

These efforts will be exhibited at Aso Kumamoto Airport, which is located at the geographical center of the area.
