Flower display by Nanryo High School students (October)
Since 2001, Aso Kumamoto Airport has been exhibiting seasonal floral arrangements grown by students from agricultural-related schools in the prefecture.
When you use the airport, why not take a look down at your feet and enjoy the artwork created by high school students from Kumamoto?
The October exhibit features works (cyclamen, cockscomb, zinnias, and petals) by students of Kumamoto Prefectural Minamiryo High School.
[Comments from Nanryo High School students]
We, the students of the Department of Comprehensive Agriculture, specialize in floriculture. We grow and sell seasonal seedlings as well as potted plants such as cyclamens, cinerarias, and begonias. This time, we are displaying flowers and mini cyclamens that you can enjoy in the future. We hope that everyone who comes to Kumamoto will take a look.
