Flower exhibition by students of Nanryo High School (October 2022)
Since 2001, Aso Kumamoto Airport has been exhibiting seasonal floral arrangements grown by students from agricultural-related schools in the prefecture.
When you use the airport, why not take a look down at your feet and enjoy the artwork created by high school students from Kumamoto?
The October exhibit features works (cyclamen, cockscomb, periwinkle, and broom grass) by students of Kumamoto Prefectural Minamiryo High School.
[Comments from Nanryo High School students]
We, the students of the Department of General Agriculture, specialize in floriculture, and we grow and sell seasonal seedlings as well as potted plants such as cyclamens, cinerarias, and begonias. We hope to be able to welcome those who come to Kumamoto with flowers, so that they will have fond memories by decorating the area with flowers and miniature cyclamens that can be enjoyed in the future.
