"Kumamoto Earthquake: Corridor of Memories" is a corridor-type field museum that preserves and teaches about the memories of the Kumamoto Earthquake for future generations.
Our aim is to learn from the experiences and lessons of the Kumamoto earthquake, to ensure they are not forgotten and are passed on to future generations, to strengthen disaster prevention measures for future large-scale natural disasters, and to learn about the natural characteristics of Kumamoto, thereby fostering a renewed sense of awe towards nature and love for our hometown.
These efforts will be exhibited at Aso Kumamoto Airport, which is located at the geographical center of the area.
Ten years have passed since the Kumamoto earthquake, so please come and see it in the corridor on the fourth floor.
