Starting March 3th, we have decided to operate "Tell Me Kumamon - Aso Kumamoto Airport Virtual Operator" (hereinafter "Tell Me Kumamon") for a limited time (until June 17th, 2021) at the Aso Kumamoto Airport Satellite Building. This combines videos of Kumamon filmed in the Kumamon Virtual Studio developed by members of the Kumamon Shared Space Expansion Lab (Kuma Lab) in Kumamoto Prefecture with an AI virtual operator developed by an experimental cooperation company.

　"Tell me Kumamon" is an attempt to reduce the labor required for voice-based counter and inquiry operations, and the VR Kumamon video used is a 3D model that is exactly the same as the real Kumamon, and the Kumamon in the VR space is filmed in a virtual studio with movements that are characteristic of Kumamon. It is possible to express Kumamon in the same way as the real Kumamon, and this is the first time it has been used in Japan.
